Donna Karan Celebrates Champions for Charity at Urban Zen

As part of Americana Manhasset's Champions for Charity kick-off, Donna Karan returned to her Urban Zen boutique to host an intimate gathering of clients for one-on-one consultations and to lead a discussion on the Urban Zen Foundation she holds so close to her heart. Karan, a Long Island native, recalled the many phases of her career and, more importantly, her travels that have shaped and continue to influence her professional decisions today.
Karan spoke emotionally and emphatically about her foundation's initiative to inspire change in the areas of well-being, preservation of cultures and empowering children. To complement the thought-provoking session, Karan also showcased her favorite pieces available at the Urban Zen boutique--showcasing several of her iconic "cold shoulder" pieces while playfully reminding everyone that "the shoulder looks good no matter your age or body type."
