Gwyneth Paltrow Hosts an Evening Celebrating Goop GIFT

Fresh off an event-packed week filled with both personal and professional commitments, not to mention a much buzzed about recent marriage to Brad Fulchuk, Gwyneth Paltrow touched down in Manhasset Friday night to host an intimate soiree for her Goop GIFT pop-up -- just one of three in the U.S. and the sole such location on the East Coast.
Ever the elegant and statuesque hostess, the indefatigable Oscar winner graciously worked the room, greeting clients, friends and guests including new Americana Manhasset CEO Russell Matthews, president Deirdre Costa Major and head of personal shopping Danielle Merollo. Catering by Peter Callahan and a Ketel One bar cart satiated appetites while gorgeous floral bouquets by Hessney & Co. lent an air of opulence.
Paltrow, no stranger to Americana Manhasset, didn't shy away from rolling up the sleeves of her Goop G. Label floor length cardigan to offer sound advice on her shop's bevy of gift guide products -- be it a luxury edition of Clue or her favorite detox bath soak. She assisted shoppers trying on a chic Jennifer Meyer necklace and advised on the most flattering Derek Rose pajama set silhouette. As her evening playing the role of shopgirl wound down, Paltrow exited just as inconspicuously as she had arrived. No fuss, no muss.
