Louis Vuitton & Ruinart Host Champagne Dinner
March 19, 2018
With the official arrival of spring a mere days away, Louis Vuitton partnered with Ruinart to host an exclusive Champagne dinner to toast the new season. Held in our Peter Marino-designed Louis Vuitton boutique, the evening began with cocktails and conversation as guests explored the new collections and the recent arrival of the brand's newest fragrance, Le Jour Se Lève.
Louis Vuitton Americana Manhasset store director Dianel Diaz and Frédéric Panaiotis, Chef de Caves, Ruinart, co-hosted the intimate soiree, which featured a delightful Champagne pairing four-course dinner set amidst beautiful gold-tint tables adorned with poppy centerpieces. A custom-designed menu catered by Olivier Cheng Catering & Events featured such dishes as chilled shellfish custard and crab salad, cured hamachi with edamame pudding and yuzu gel and grilled filet of beef with beet bulgur, hen of the woods mushrooms and dried cherry mustard.
Guests, including Americana Manhasset Director of Personal Shopping Danielle Merollo, partook in a Champagne lesson distinguishing between vintages of whites and rosés. All in all, a lovely evening to usher in the weekend. We thank all who attended!
