Vilebrequin Reveals New Concept and Look!
November 22, 2016
Originally opened in July 2006, Vilebrequin has debuted a newly-renovated boutique at Americana Manhasset. The luxury French swim and resort wear brand’s Manhasset store, located on the south side of the center, is an ambassador for 1970’s St-Tropez chic and has been remodeled under the brand's "cabines de plage,” or “beach cabins” concept to provide a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere for those shopping for a beach getaway or leisurely dip by the pool.
"This new concept provides a breath of fresh marine air to our Manhasset boutique,” says Dinah Emsalem, Vilebrequin’s president of the Americas. “It was conceived to invite our customers to dive right into their vacation fantasies, and enjoy a sunny break during their everyday shopping route. At Vilebrequin, we believe everyone deserves retail therapy as often as possible."
Inside, the intimate shop boasts a striking wall graphic that mimics a view of the sea while boutique fixtures resembling beach cabins serve as the perfect invitation to year-round relaxation. The white and azure blue color scheme is inspired by Mediterranean buildings, further enhancing the light and space through large picture windows. The history of the company, founded in 1971 in St-Tropez, is visually portrayed to shoppers through the use of photographs and illustrations hung from the walls.
The boutique is home to men's, children's and accessories collections which now includes a footwear collection introduced in early 2016.
