Donna Karan returns to Americana Manhasset with the opening of a very special Urban Zen shop dedicated to promoting a cultured and curated shopping experience informed by the designer’s travels.
The 1,800-square-foot boutique recreates a luxurious retail environment brought to life with women's ready-to-wear, statement jewelry, handcrafted leather pieces and artisan made home decor from as far as Bali and Haiti. Influenced by her travels, the retail experience highlights Balinese made Urban Zen chairs and sculptural tables, and Haitian designed decorative accessories hand crafted by the country’s artisans.
At its core, the brand preserves culture by working in partnership with global artisans promoting philanthropy and commerce. As with other Urban Zen shops, each is unique to its location and embraces the spirit of community by connecting with the customer through artisan collaborations, art and architecture.
