What's New at Hirshleifers - April 2019

Ganni
With a collection inspired by carefree days of living outdoors, Ganni designer Ditte Reffstrup infused her delicate slip dresses and touches of eyelet into complementary pieces that both moved the brand forward and increased their global appeal. Minus the embellishments and fuss, not to mention sweet naïveté that had been a hallmark for the brand, the pieces resonate on a scale beyond her Danish roots. Pair a retro Lurex knit with an anorak from her collaboration with Icelandic sportswear label 66 North and you're all set!
Alanui
Hawaiian influences informed Nicolo and Carlotta Oddi's spring Alanui collection. The collection of luxurious roomy cashmere cardigans feature adventure-ready surfboard, mountain and palm tree motifs inspired by the designer's Hawaiian language. We love the signature oversize sweaters, embellished with fringe, crocheted flowers and embroidered hummingbirds.
Dries Van Noten
There's a lot to love about Dries Van Noten's spring collection -- easily one of his best in recent memory. Uplifting, colorful and entirely wearable, it reigned in all the elements we love from Dries with the addition of new elements that made it all modern. The man-made elements that melded the designer's love for florals were beautifully rendered via papery-light technical fabrics. At once both posh yet uncontrived, this was at its heart a fun collection to collect and wear.
